On 27th April 2023 vomFASS was awarded the 2023 Sustainability Award from the German Franchise Association in Berlin, and we are super happy and excited!

CEO of Cronbank AG, Wolfgang Becker, said: “Only a few companies have anchored the sustainability aspect in their business model as much as vomFASS… Future-oriented management requires responsible action across the entire value chain. This includes sustainably aligning all activities of the headquarters, rebuilding the supply chains socially and ecologically and bringing the partners – around 285 worldwide – to the adoption of a uniform sustainability strategy. In order to achieve this, [vomFASS] has created the position of a sustainability manager. With [the company’s] size, this is an exceptionally far-sighted step… this is an impressive way how the basic sustainability idea of the business is further developed, inspired and raised to a new level.” he sums up.

Katrin Stirnimann took over the vomFASS shop at Pilatusstraße 3 in Lucerne (Switzerland) on 01 March 2023.

Ms Stirnimann was once an employee and is therefore already a familiar face to the people of Lucerne. We are pleased to have found a sympathetic franchisee here.

Monica die Marco started as a franchisee in Solothurn in 2004 and took over her second vomFASS shop in Lucerne in 2016. In 2020, Monica handed over the Solothurn location to Marc Trostel and now Lucerne to Katrin Stirnimann.

On 1 August 2022, John Kleine-Möllhoff took over the vomFASS shop in Essen and, after a conversion to the current shop concept, has been open to customers since 12 August. With the new shop design, it is possible to present a larger assortment and thus provide customers with more choice.

With Pascal Steinert (see picture), who welcomes the customers at Emmastraße 1/ corner of Rüttenscheider Straße, John Kleine-Möllhoff has a reliable partner at his side, as he himself only acts in the background.

On 15 June 2022 vomFASS Wangen and Fasseria opened in Wangen at Herrenstraße 15 under new management.
The opening day was already a complete success. We are delighted to have found a sympathetic and committed franchise partner for our Wangen location in Lilli Heinz. Wangen was last managed as the only branch outside the vomFASS headquarters in Waldburg.

Thomas Kiderlen elected member of the board of the German Franchise Association

vomFASS is now represented on the board of the German Franchise Association!

This year vomFASS is turning 28 years and since the beginning we have been a member of the German Franchise Association and have always seen it as a great sparring partner. The association lives through its members and their commitment. Commitment that Thomas Kiderlen, owner of the VOM FASS AG, will now also show – he was elected as a new member of the board at the general meeting of the German Franchise Association.
