We are delighted to have found a new franchisee in Fabian Schuster and warmly welcome him to the vomFASS family! Since June 8, you can find the vomFASS store at Salzgässchen 6 in Leipzig, Germany- directly in the Steigenberger Grandhotel building. After a break of almost half a year, our location in Leipzig is now open again. We wish you every success and all the best!
On 1 October 2020, our franchise partner Marc Torstel took over the vomFASS shop in Solothurn, Switzerland. He has now moved his business to a better location in Solothurn. Since 3 May, the motto at Hauptgasse 4 in Solothurn has been “look-taste-enjoy”.
With the move, the shop not only has a larger space, but has also been directly converted to our current shop concept. We wish you every success at the new location!
Matthias and Katharina Haas took over the vomFASS shop in Vienna-City Centre from our franchisee Johannes Jirsa on 1 May 2024. The Haas family has thus opened their second vomFASS shop. They have been successfully operating the Vienna-Landstraße store since April 2021, We wish you lots of fun and success at your two locations!
Our franchise partner Johannes Jirsa has been part of the vomFASS family for many years and has managed the shops in Eisenstadt and in Vienna city centre (Brandstätte) in Austria. On 3 May 2024, he has now opened his new vomFASS shop in Baden, Austria, and handed over Brandstätte. This shortens his travel routes and he can use the time directly for his customers. We wish him every success!
Fresh start at vomFASS St. Gallen in Switzerland
After an impressive 17.5 years, Mr Keller has handed over his vomFASS-store to Christian Burkhard. We have been working hard over the last few weeks to convert the store to our current shop concept and are delighted that it is once again time to see-taste-enjoy in St. Gallen since the 20th of April!
We would like to thank Mr Keller for his many years of partnership. He has built up the location and made it great and thus created the best conditions for a successor.
We would also like to welcome Mr Burkhard and his family to the vomFASS- family and wish them success and enjoyment with their store!
Our Apricot Balsam Star impressed the jury at the International Taste Institute and won the Superior Taste Award with two stars!
The “Superior Taste Award” is a certification awarded by the International Taste Institute to food products that have undergone a positive taste assessment by a panel of first-class chefs and sommeliers.

Just in time for Easter 2024, the vomFASS shop in the AEZ in Hamburg, Germany has opened its doors and once again all customers can: See – Taste – Enjoy. We are delighted about the expansion of Class Ahlers, which is now operating its third and new vomFASS shop in the Alstertal-shopping centre in Hamburg in addition to its locations in Celle and Hamburg-Tibarg in Germany. We wish the entire team and Claas Ahlers continued fun and success with vomFASS!
Bernd Beuttenmüller put his heart and soul into running his vomFASS shop in Bietigheim-Bissingen, Germany for over 21 years and has now gone into well-deserved retirement. We wish you, Mr Beuttenmüller, all the best for your retirement! Many thanks for the time we spent together!
Markus Koppe opened his vomFASS shop as a shop-in-shop concept in Bietigheim-Bissingen on 27 March, just in time for Easter. We are particularly pleased that we were able to reactivate the location directly and find a successor. A warm welcome to the vomFASS family and good luck for this exciting journey!

After two years of data collection and project work, we have published the first sustainability report of VOM FASS AG. One thing is clear: environmental protection and a fair supply chain have been at the core of vomFASS for years. With the report, we can now show holistically and with authentic transparency in which areas we are involved and where there is room for improvement.
By the way: With this report, we are anticipating the new European Union Reporting Directive (CSRD), which will come into force in 2026, and as a pioneer, we are communicating transparently on topics such as water consumption, equal opportunities and climate protection.
